DBP: DBP has been linked to reproductive issues and can cause harm to unborn child. It is very dangerous for women and is then forbidden in cosmetics.
Camphor: this terpenoid is a special compound which sublimates (from solid to gas - no liquid phase). It is then harmful for breathing risk is low but it is regulated in cosmetics for children:
Toluene: Toluene has been linked to issues affecting the nervous system with symptoms that includes dizziness, headaches nausea and eye irritation. Toluene has also been linked to birth defects and developmental problems in children whose mothers were exposed to the chemical during pregnancy.
Formaldehyde: Formaldehyde has been considered as carcinogen, linked to nasal and lung cancers, by international agency for research of cancer.
Formaldehyde Resin: they are irritant and sensitive and their stability in formula is weak. Formaldehyde is a sub-product which content increases with time, generating higher sensitivity and allergenic risk.
